FLAMMABILITY TESTER For the safety of children it isvery important to determine theflammability of toys.The Flammability Tester fortoys consists of an adjustablegas burner to provide the flameneeded for testing in thespecified manner, a digital timerto extinguish the flame afterpre-set time, and a time interval meter for measuring the flaming time.The burner is made of brass as per figure 1 of ISO 6941-2003. It ismounted on a rotating holder with arrangement to move the burnervertically and horizontally so that it can be placed in front of or belowthe test specimen. It can also be made vertical for initial setting. Aneedle valve is provided to adjust the flame height. A flame adjustingjig is also provided with the equipment.
